The Forest Smallholding resides at 1000ft elevation at the head of a quiet valley deep in Radnor Forest in Wales.

As well as being a working forest; there are large elements of ancient woodland and large swathes of deciduous broad-leaf trees, rocky outcrops and moorland.

The forest is alive with abundant wildlife and bird life including various finches, tits and warblers, Siskins, Bramblings, Dippers, Redpolls, Goshawks, Red kites and Ravens; peace and quiet abounds.

Wild flowers thrive along with violets, primrose, cowslips, bluebells, snakeshead fritillary, and wild daffodils

It is here that we have set up home, where we raise our traditional breed of Jacob sheep, rare breed pigs, and free ranging hens providing Welsh hogget, mutton, pork and eggs for us and for sale. All our livestock is free range and is slowly matured: raised following organic principles.
