Nant Mithil Energy Park

The proposal from Bute Energy regarding the controversial Nant Mithil Energy Park:

'The proposed development will comprise the construction and operation of       approximately 36 wind turbines (at 220 metres tall), an electrical substation and control building, underground power cables, anemometer masts, site access tracks, habitat management and where necessary, off-site highways improvements including a new bridge over the River Wye.' (A Sustainable World, now and for Future Generations).

Edit: now reduced to 31 turbines, with 3 at 220 meters to the tip, 24 at 205 meters to the tip and 4 at 180 meters to the tip

Please see the below video from WyeExplorer from August 2021 showing the true majesty of Radnor Forest.  Home to Goshawks, Red kites, Pine Marten and a whole host of creatures who call this wonderous place Home.

Help us in our fight to maintain our landscape and to encourage Bute Energy to significantly reduce the amount and size of turbines.  All comments regarding Nant Mithil can be sent to:   Google: Nant Mithil
Thank you
